Account-Based Marketing & Outbound

When you already know which accounts you want, marketing stops being a funnel and becomes a list. ABM strategy, outbound sequences, the tooling behind them, and how small teams run all of it without an enterprise platform or a dedicated ops hire.

This is the thinking behind our pursuit program.

Frequently asked questions

Asked about this topic, answered straight.

What is account-based marketing?

Marketing to a named list of companies instead of to a market. You decide which accounts are worth winning, then aim content, advertising and outbound at the buying group inside them. It suits a high value product with a long cycle and a small number of realistic buyers.

Do you need expensive software to run ABM?

No. Platforms help at scale, but a small team can run a real programme with a CRM, LinkedIn, a way to see which companies visit the site, and a list they have agreed with sales. Buying the platform first is a common and expensive way to discover the list was never agreed.

How many accounts should be on the list?

Few enough that you could name what matters to each one. Teams that start with 500 accounts end up doing ordinary marketing with a filter on it. Starting with 25 to 50 forces the research that makes the outreach worth reading.

How do ABM and outbound fit together?

Marketing makes the account familiar with you before a rep arrives, which is the difference between a cold email and a warm one. Running outbound with no air cover is where reply rates go to die. Our Pursuit program runs the two as one motion.
