Celebrity chef Bryan Voltaggio needed an agile approach to launching websites as fast as his restaurants grew, which was fast.

The Problem

As Top Chef finalist Bryan Voltaggio expanded his brand to include six restaurants, his brand's online presence needed to expand, as well - but it also needed to remain cohesive. While the motif of individual restaurants ranged from family casual to exceptional elegance, each location was united by the Voltaggio brand's dedication to dining excellence. The websites needed to reflect this balance. To capitalize on the traffic associated with the Voltaggio brand, the sites also needed to function as a hub for restaurant information - doing everything from showcasing easily-accessible, dynamic menus, to providing the ability to schedule reservations.

The Solution

New North worked with Volt to create six WordPress multi-sites, balancing the unique qualities of each restaurant and location with the recurring excellence of the Voltaggio brand. Based on individual location needs, the sites were designed for easy menu updates, and integrated with OpenTable for reservation functionality. The state-of-the-art design aesthetics accurately reflected the differing location motifs. As a result, the sites accrued high amounts of traffic and engagement, averaging 10K monthly visitors and 2.44 pages viewed per visit.
